Marionette Marketing

It seems inevitable that advertising and marketing will continually evolve and become more and more advanced, encroaching further into our lives despite our best efforts to block it.  However, the most effective way for ad agencies to fight the Resistance is to make stuff people want to watch, to the point where the audience doesn’t feel like its watching an ad but rather something cool.

Some of the fine folks in Japan have come up with a way to make show windows a bit more involved with MarionetteBot – a mannequin that mimics your movement via Kinect technology and puppeteering engineering; here’s the video:

Amazing?  Cool?  Insanely creepy?  What do you think?
